A ``track'', represented by a subdirectory in this directory, is one recorded (or at least recordable) version of a song. A track will normally have the same filename (shortname) as the corresponding song file, possibly with a suffix to distinguish it from other tracks of the same song.

Every track directory should contain a file called "notes" -- the last line that starts in column 1 will be listed by list-tracks. Every track directory that can be considered production quality should have a file in it called OK; it can contain a list of takes if more than one is useable. The make template for albums normally uses the most recent .wav file in each track directory.
